ARTICLE 4 Officers, International Council and Executive Committee
- The Officers of the Society will be
a. The Chair
b. The Vice-Chair
c. The Secretary-General
d. The Treasurer
- The International Council will consist of two (2) Councillors from each
Affiliated Society and one (1) from each Associated Society. In addition,
up to four (4) members at large may be proposed by the International Council
and endorsed by a simple majority of the Councils of the Affiliated and Associated
Societies. The International Council will elect the Executive Committee for
the ensuing 4 years, which will comprise the Officers and the Immediate Past
Chair.
- The role of the International Council shall be to Co-ordinate the views
and opinions of the Councils of the Affiliated and Associated Societies. The
members of the International Council shall take such steps as may be necessary
to determine the views of the Councils of the Affiliated and Associated Societies
in the election of the Executive Committee.
- No member may represent more than one Affiliated or Associated Society
on the International Council or Executive Committee.
- The members of the Executive Committee of the Society will be the Officers
of the Society plus the immediate Past Chair.
